Uncle BriBri's wedding

My little brother, Brian, got married last weekend. He's been dating Kellie for over 2 years (maybe longer?) and they finally tied the knot. It was one heck of a party starting from the limo ride to seeing the family, including my aunt Barb and dad, doing the alligator. It was also funny to see my cousin, Stephanie, let loose with drinking alcohol after working so hard to make the wedding beautiful and make sure everyone was fed. It was wonderful to be around the entire family...and both sides of the family to boot. We really do have a wonderful family who are always there to help. I'm very happy we live closer and the kids will be able to spend more time with them. Lily is starting to remember everyone and even ran up to Grandma McG. (my grandma, her great grandma)with open arms and gave her a huge hug.

I have been talking about the wedding for a while now. Lily was a flower girl and I was trying to prepare this shy girl to walk down a long aisle while having a gazillion (seriously, small town weddings=gazillion guests)strangers smiling at her. She did it for rehearsal and again for the wedding! She loved wearing her "wedding dress" and "dance shoes."

Harrison and Randy retreated early for the night (thanks to an allergy attack for Randy) but Lily and I danced until 11:30PM. We danced together, she danced with her cousin Kelsey and new friend Kaylyn, and by herself. She had a fun time and so did I. My little brother Brian did too, during the dollar dance, he said it was the best day of his life. That makes me happy.

The website is acting up but I'll try and post more pics later.

Best daycare provider ever

I will have to post something soon about our move. But for now we are getting settled into our new home in Iowa. We miss our family (Joy, Bobby, and kids)and we also miss our daycare in Colorado. Lily started going to Janee's in-home daycare when she was 7 months old. I wish everyone could experience a daycare situation like we had with Janee. It's not easy leaving the kids each day but having Janee care for them made it much easier on us. Here is a little video of Lily talking about daycare...
