Kid update

Harrison
Harrison's "boy" qualities are becoming more and more apparent. Lily is a very cautious kid. She might have thrown herself into a pile of pillows or stack of newspapers once or twice but nothing compared to Mr. Harrison. Harrison is far from cautious, very far. A few examples...banging on the big screen TV, pulling himself up on the fireplace guard and shaking it till it falls open, holds onto the gate at the top of the stairs and yells as loud as possible, opening the screen door and trying to escape before being caught 1/2 way out the door and shaking a side table that housed a statue. Why in the world would we have such a thing in a house with kids? Because Lily never touched it. Never. This kid is a wild man. Harrison loves to crawl and explore. He loves the vaccuum. He is very ticklish on his sides. He is eating more table food and hasn't meet a table food he hasn't liked. He is sleeping great. He loves his pacifier. He loves the dogs and they have learned to walk away immediately when he crawls to them. He loves to drop his sippy cup over the side of his high chair and watch me pick it up. He has antsy leg syndrome like his father, moving them around as he falls asleep.

Lily
Lily is turning into a little kid. She loves her library books, especially Mommy in my Pocket, loves to color and she does an amazing job for a 2.5 year old. She is learning her shapes and knows most of her colors although red and green get mixed up frequently. When she's familiar with a book she'll finish a word or sentence on each page. She loves to wear dresses. She climbs up the ladder and goes down the slide all by herself. She loves to play with play dough out in the garage. She still talks about going on the airplane and how she got chocolate milk. Her favorite tv show is Jon and Kate Plus 8. She comes into our bed every night and is either super snuggly or lies horizontally between Randy and I. She's a great eater and will try most anything. She loves sharing ice cream with Randy. She loves playing baby or puppy or dr.
